AI Literacy Training
HIDAAbout this course
AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot or DeepL can make your work easier: structuring, drafting, summarising. At the same time, practical questions arise: what data may I feed the AI? How do I recognise whether a result is correct? This course provides answers. You will learn how to write effective prompts, what content you may enter, and how to spot flawed results.
In five modules, you will learn to use AI tools safely and effectively. You accompany Alex, a project coordinator at a Helmholtz centre, through realistic work situations. At each key point, you make your own decisions and receive immediate feedback.

EU AI Act
The EU AI Act requires organisations that deploy AI tools to ensure a sufficient level of AI competence among their staff (article 4).
This course does not teach the EU AI Act itself. It provides the practical AI competence that article 4 of the regulation calls for: safe handling of data, critical review of results, knowledge of applicable guidelines. Upon completion of all modules, you will receive a certificate of participation as proof.
